Abstract

The historical forgery of the Protocols of the wise men of Zion constitutes the reference text of a conspiracyview of history. It is a vision based on the Jewish-Gentile dialectic. From this perspective, anti-Semitism has a dialecticalmodel that enhances the situation of anguish before the events of history, seen as a succession of tragedies and dramaspromoted by an alleged Jewish conspiracy. The author aims to examine, from a historiographical perspective, the use ofcollective anguish as an ideological and political tool by the culture of the extreme national revolutionary right in the 20thcentury.Il falso storico dei Protocolli dei Savi di Sion costituisce il testo di riferimento di una visionecospirazionista della storia. Si tratta di una visione fondata sulla dialettica ebreo-gentili. In questa prospettival'antisemitismo dispone di un modello dialettico che valorizza la situazione di angoscia davanti alle vicende della storia,vista come un susseguirsi di tragedie e drammi promossi da una presunta cospirazione ebraica.
